I don't got a clue of what you were saying but I am very impressed with that stove. Talking about innovation and design. Besides American made product, I also admired those made in Japan and Germany because they're always made with high quality and great design.
Is that hole in the middle of his pellet basket the air intake? Maybe if he used wood instead of pellets, it would give it more space to allow in air Still a pretty awesome design, regardless
It's a Japanese pre-made rocket stove. Just look up "rocket stove" and see how you can make one yourself for cheap or buy one from many manufacturers around the world. You can use any size wood that fits into the fuel chamber- the Japanese use wood pellets because YOU DO NOT GO AROUND CUTTING DOWN TREES IN JAPAN. This version is inefficient - poor air intake leads to incomplete combustion and lots of smoke. This one is more similar to standard stoves in efficiency than to a real rocket stove.
I've just spent an hour or so on the web trying to get some information on this thing. Going through Japanese web sites and using Google Translate leaves something to be desired, however, I gather; 1) It's called a 'kirin-kun', kirin means giraffe in Japanese; no idea what 'kun' means. 2) It's made by Uniflame. 3) I gather it's made for domestic consumption, and not for export. Pity....
I am sure that tube is air intake and I am sure if you allow in more air then you will burn too hot. I think they measured just how much air the thing needed to burn just right.
That it is a superb design with proveable results and the video is not bad. However a more detailed-perhaps animated-description of the start, middle , finish of the process would be neat. It seems that what you do with it is mind bending!
ich hab zwar nicht ein einziges wort von dem schlitzauge verstanden aber dennoch eine sehr geile idee und gute umsetzung. grüße aus dem pseudodemokratischen deutschland i didnt understand a single wort from that asian guy, but a really great idea and good realisation.greetz from "germany"
me ha gustado el invento/idea.....creo que puedo fabricar una para calefaccion en casa....y acoplarle un alimentador....como una estufa de cascara pero mas limpio...
Hi James, It is a very interesting stove, however; it looks like a gasifier used for cooking vs. generating fuel for running an engine. Look up gasifier in Google and you will see the similarities in the chemical and working procedure, of course the design can be drafted upon necessity and usage. If you need blue prints email me I will send them to you... Best
Uh...sorry but...why pay for a system that requires paying for wood pellets when a homemade rocket stove can be made with cement, and free kindling? It's pretty...but, will cost you.
This is one of the best rocket stove setups i have ever seen! You guys need to expand your market.
Niekonwencjonalne podejście i precyzyjne wykonanie. Super :)
Pretty slick concept. Might have to try to build something like that!
What an incredibly clever piece of kit! Really good , and clean running, too.. Also an excellent video, well filmed, and understandable.

basic excellent design , compact for the amount of diversity .
こうゆうの災害時の避難所とかに配備されてると使えそうですね!
燃料がもっとなんでも使いやすくなるとさらに良いかも
Why did you put inicial fire on the two sides? On the woods pellets ok, but why on the oposite side?
Where can i buy one of these stoves online in Canada

Where is the website? Or contact information?
Great stove. Very nice video. Thank you.
Could you publish information of how to buy one?
Here's what I did. Highlighted the Japanese, ペレットストーブ きりん君Ⅱ , then pasted in the "bing" search. Then did an "images" search. You take it from there.

netafuri yep I see what you mean.
How can I order one?
Do you sell these?
Where do i order one from China or from Japan?
GREAT! :)) Can I buy one of these? Where, how much?
Amigo, buen día. Quería saber cuáles el costo de esta estufa. Quedó atento, gracias.👍👍👍
